Heavy Metal & Mineral Testing

Naturopathic Approach uses the revolutionary Spectrophotometry method to trace elements and heavy metal intoxication. The method used by OligoScan. OligoScan allows you to make a quick and precise analysis of the trace elements, vitamins and heavy metals in the tissues of our patients.

About OligoScan

The Oligoscan is an analyser or instrument that measures the amount of light emitted by a light source reflected from the skin to determine the concentration of an element in the skin.
The cutting edge Oligoscan makes, in real time, a precise analysis of the minerals in the skin and peripheral blood vessels. No biopsy, blood or hair sample is needed.
The Oligoscan uses spectrophotometry to measure the optical density of the trace elements, minerals and heavy metals, currently present in the tissues.

As the minerals that show as deficient are increased and heavy metals are eliminated there will be a shift in mineral levels – either increasing, balancing or showing a deficiency; thus showing a truer reading as heavy metals are moved. At the start it is taken as face value and the mineral deficiencies or excesses are worked on (as excesses show high levels but often unavailable to the cells therefore, a deficiency which needs addressing as well); heavy metal levels change regularly and often you see an increase (the true reading) before it decreases.

What does the OligoScan show us?

  • The OligoScan shows us the elements.
  • The Intra-cellular and extra-cellular level of elements = bio-availability (to the cells).

Heavy metals block nutrient uptake into the cell e.g. Zinc is blocked by Aluminium, Antimony, Cadmium, Excess Copper, Lead and Mercury.

Heavy metals come from the environment, food and water; sprays, chemicals, soil, vaccines, dental fillings; and trans-generational (passed down through parents in pregnancy).

How do you know the true deficiencies and heavy metal toxicity? By testing with the OligoScan. It’s quick, simple and easy.
